AKA the Crawford Turk or Crawford's Turk Imported by John Crawford, 20th Earl of Crawford, he was purchased by Mr. Stamford after Crawford died in 1749. He covered at Newmarket at a fee of 1 guinea. He sired a couple of winners of minor Fifties; and Aura, the dam of Genius (1759 King's Plate Salisbury) and of Juniper (prolific winner between 1756 and 1760, principally 1760 Jockey Club Plate).
